Notes:
- Muma (1961a) revived the name Typhlodromus floridanus Muma (1955: 269) when transferring the species to the genus Galendromus. Chant & Baker (1965) accepted Muma (1961a)'s interpretation. However, Denmark (1977) disagreed with Muma and revived the name Galendromus helveolus. Chant & McMurtry (2007) considered the name Galendromus (Galendromus) floridanus as a valid name and Galendromus (Galendromus) helveolus as a unnecessary replace name.;
