Notes:
- Denmark & Evans (2019) restored the genus Amathia to contain the type species A. rancida and the new species then described, A. narwai, specifically because of the presence of J1. We consider convenient to maintain Amathia as a synonym of Neoseiulus, for considering the reasoning of Chant & McMurtry (2003a) in addition to the fact that occurrences of J1 has also been reported for at least a species of Amblydromalus (A. amazonicus) and a species of Typhlodromips (T. extrasetosus), genera which do not presente this setae in other species.;
