Objectives

To provide an update on the phytopathogenic bacterium Xylella fastidiosa, its importance, host-plant interactions, transmission, management and certification, as well as training in techniques for cultivation and diagnosis of the bacterium; insect vector sampling, handling and rearing, transmission assays, and control tactics.

Target audience: researchers, professionals, growers and students.
